(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, April 3 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah expressed his deepest sympathies on Wednesday over the victims of raging forest fires in China's southwestern province of Sichuan, which claimed scores of lives and left more than a dozen people wounded.
His Highness the Amir extended his condolences in a cable he sent to Chinese President Xi Jinping, saying he was distraught over the tragic loss of life caused by the natural disaster.
His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah sent similar messages to the Chinese leader. (end) ha.nam
